Product Sales Intern - Spring 2026

Boundless is seeking a Product Sales Intern with strong communication skills and interest in SaaS products and environmental analytics to support the launch and growth of our new SaaS product (Boundless LCA Calculator). This part-time internship will focus on product sales support, customer research and feedback analysis, and developing sales materials, while gaining hands-on experience with a growing sustainability data and analytics firm. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, with an eagerness to learn about product management and sales in a fast-paced small business environment. The candidate will work closely with Boundless' CEO and with our product and research teams.

The Product Sales Intern can work flexibly between 15-20 hours per week remotely, receiving direction and guidance from Boundless leadership and Product teams. This is an unpaid internship, running from February 2026 through May/June 2026 (depending on availability).

Boundless is an industry research and environmental impact analytics firm that provides objective and actionable information to move investment dollars more quickly toward clean technologies and climate solutions. Our science-based, data-driven approach is grounded in the proven methodology of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA). The scores and metrics derived are trustworthy and reliable because they are unbiased and validated by external industry and/or scientific experts. Boundless has the capabilities to perform rapid (and screening) LCA and TEA, LCA consistent with ISO 14040, and Scope 1,2,3 emissions inventories.

We are rapidly expanding as we extend our environmental impact analytics to a growing customer base of investors, companies, and large institutions. We are also developing online data platforms for our company and investor subscribers, to provide access to our climate impact scores, reports and analytics, and industry benchmarks. Responsibilities

  • Support product sales efforts for our new Boundless LCA Calculator, an online platform that makes it easy for companies to measure, model, and optimize the sustainability footprint of their products.
  • Assist with lead qualification and maintain CRM systems to track prospects and customer interactions.
  • Create sales materials, presentations, and product collateral to support business development efforts.
  • Conduct customer research and coordinate customer interviews to gather product feedback and identify user needs and pain points.
  • Design and analyze surveys to collect customer insights on product features, pricing, and market positioning.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of similar LCA tools, SaaS products, and environmental analytics platforms in the market.
  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback to provide internal recommendations on pricing, packaging, and product improvements.
  • Support market research to identify potential customer segments and opportunities for our environmental analytics platform.
  • Help organize and maintain sales leads and support outreach campaign planning.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate customer insights and sales recommendations to leadership.
  • Gain experience providing operational and administrative support across product and sales functions.
  • Collaborate closely with Boundless' senior management and the rest of the Boundless team as required.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Graduate's degree with interdisciplinary background combining business/entrepreneurship with technical/environmental/sustainability fields.
  • Strong interest in product management and SaaS product sales. Experience in those is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude to understand SaaS products and digital platforms; familiarity with LCA or environmental products is a plus.
  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with or willingness to learn customer research methodologies, survey design, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or willingness to learn (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Interest in understanding customer needs and translating feedback into actionable insights.
  • Ability to create compelling presentations and sales materials.
  • Developing critical thinking skills with attention to detail and interest in competitive analysis.
  • Ability to multitask, to complete tasks on tight deadlines, and close attention to details and timelines.
  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing other related duties as required.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, you have a positive attitude and you are easy to work with.
  • The candidate will be able to own projects and acquire strong experience in product sales and customer research at a fast-growing SaaS and analytics company.
